Angela Drake
12/??/05
|
|
|
Hundreds of people attended a prayer vigil Friday night for
Angela Drake. She has been missing early on the morning of Dec. 9th. Authorities
have arrested Michael Desalvo on unrelated charges, but have named him a person
of interest in Angela’s disappearance. He was the last person seen or known to
be with her..
12/23/05 Fitchburg detectives discovered the body of a young female at
11:35 a.m. today in a culvert on a farm in the Town of Oregon near where
authorities have been searching for Angela Drake, a 25-year-old Oregon woman
missing since Dec. 9.

Christine M Rudy 03/22/80 to
11/??/05
|
Clark County
Dec 16, 2005The Clark County Sheriff's Office says
the human remains found last week have been identified. The remains
are of Christine Rudy. She disappeared last month. She was six
months pregnant at the time.
Investigators are now calling this a criminal case. They are not saying how
she died or where the remains were found. People are being questioned in the
investigation, but no one has been arrested and no suspects have been named.
Christine's husband is in jail, but he was arrested in a different case last
month. He told authorities that he got into an argument with Christine on
November 12th and he dropped her off on the side of County Road MM near
Stanley. That was the last time anyone reported seeing her.
An attorney who is not involved in this case told News 18 on Friday that
under Wisconsin law, someone could be charged with two counts of murder in this
case because Rudy was pregnant. "When you deal with two charges... which if
they should be intentional could be as high as life in prison without parole...
having two charges increases the likelihood someone may have to try the case
through a complete trial rather than have a plea agreement," says Harry Hertel,
an attorney.

Chris Jenkins
Disappeared Oct. 31,2002
|
Christopher
Jenkins
21 Years Old
Minneapolis. MN
Christopher
was our son and an incredible brother to Sara (Jenkins) Lightner. Chris went
to the U of MN, Carlson School of Mgmt, and was one semester away from
graduating with a four year degree and a 3.8 GPA. At the same time Chris was
Co-Captain and starting goalie for the U of MN Men’s Lacrosse Team. He
received All Conference Award three times and All American Honor twice. He
received his diploma posthumously, the first to be honored in such a way from
the U of MN, Carlson School of Management.
While Chris was strong academically and a very talented
athlete, we are most proud of who he was as a loving human being.
Christopher, 21, disappeared
from the Lone Tree Bar in downtown Minneapolis on October 31st,
2002. He was dressed in a Native American costume for Halloween. Several
witnesses have told us he was escorted out of the bar, for no apparent
reason. Many of the employees, including bouncers, knew Chris because he was
dating a bar waitress from the Lone Tree. She was with Chris that dreadful
night. Why wasn’t she told this, particularly since she had Chris’ wallet,
cell phone, and house keys?? His body was found in the Mississippi River on
February 27, 2003 after he had been MISSING for four months.
For 4 years, we worked
tirelessly to find the truth and seek justice for our son/brother/friend. Our
goal all along: A fair and thorough investigation. Chris at least deserves
that much. Finally, under the direction of Chief Tim Dolan and Lt. Lee
Edwards, there is currently an active investigation. On Friday, Nov. 17,
2006, we met with the Minneapolis Police Dept. They told us that Chris was
indeed murdered, and this is now a homicide investigation. On that
day, Chris' voice was finally heard.
The four months
Chris was missing was a journey of hope, family, friendship, courage,
persistence, strength, desperation and determination. We have come to realize
through all of these efforts, how much Chris taught all of us about love. He
loved life, family, so many sports, nature and his pets. But most of all Chris
redefined friendship in the special way he took care of his friends, especially
if anyone was sad, hurt, upset or in trouble. Chris was the light in
the darkness, the smile that captivated and warmed hearts, the positive energy
that lifted anyone who came in contact with him. Chris is sorely missed.
God Bless and
Make Every Day Count.
